CONVINIENCE VS STYLE
We all know that one item of clothing that looks amazing but is just so inconvenient? Living in a city, I have many clothes which look incredible but would limit how far I can walk and how comfortable I will be. There's the saying, 'Beauty is Pain', which refers to walking in new stylish shoes and developing blisters. But what beauty shouldn't be, is inconvenient.
Here are some clothes in my wardrobe that aren't just worth the hype, but are actually comfortable:
A good leather jacket adds style to any outfit. I own one just like this from Urban Outfitters. It was on the expensive side (£85-90), but it is now a year old and still makes me look and feel good when wearing it. I find personally if I feel insecure in an outfit, it won't look good regardless of the clothes. In London, everyone walks with a mission - determined to get somewhere. There is no time to hunch and feel sorry for yourself. It is so important to just be confident in whatever you wear.
I think that baggy jeans are a necessary part of your wardrobe. I have gone over a week wearing my jeans in a row. It is gross, I know - but they are the most comfortable things ever. Although they're not ideal for wet, rainy weather (London, basically), they are perfect for walking around near home, going to your local cafe and just having a really chill, crisp day.
This last top is perfect to me, because it is stretchy. Hollister do a lot of stretchy tops, and these can be so comfortable. They're easy to wash, easy to wear, and easy to style. The definition of convenience. Every girl needs a top like this in her wardrobe, one she can slip on in 30 seconds to rush downstairs and answer the door.

THE AUTUMN WARDROBE
I love Autumn. It's the time of the year where you can really set a statement with your fashion: you can layer tops and jumpers, and even pair your outfit with an elegant coat. Autumn isn't just a time to be performative and listen to the classic 'Fade Into You' (it is indeed a great song), it is a time to really experiment new fashion styles and clothes, so when compiling this catalogue of autumnal clothes I really took into account different styles. Enjoy !!
OUTFIT ONE: The classic 2000s 'Elena Gilbert' style outfit: a mixture of brown, red and grey-blue, perfect for a walk in the park, crunching leaves as you go. I recently purchased the Hollister coat myself, and it is extremely comfortable (although I have not got much use out of it yet as it is August). This coat paired with the BDG jeans, Burberry scarf, Hollister long-sleeved top and Uggs is just perfect.
OUTFIT TWO: This is a much more basic outfit - ideal for a day spent in a cafe, or even an autumnal yet not exactly freezing day at school. The top from Hollister paired with the Hollister jeans is screaming 2020, and it almost demonstrates how as a society we have altered the 2000 style slightly to match our modern style. The sunglasses, the leather belt and the comortable Uggs just make this outfit come together.
OUTFIT THREE: The Abercrombie&Fitch jumper in a shade of green differs from the usual palette of red and brown - I think this is perfect for the girlies wanting to stand out whilst looking stylish. The only scarf that was perfect for this outfit as a tartan pattern, which matches the colours of this whole outfit. I'm obsessed with the BDG jeans, leather bag and Adidas shoes.
OUTFIT FOUR: Pair the Brandy Melville top with a bunch of jewellery (perhaps Bijoux De Mimi or other smaller jewelry chains) and you will look like the ultimate swaggy autumn girl. The BDG jeans paired with that thick, leather belt and the wide-rimmed glasses really make this outfit come to life.
